Advanced Glazings Ltd. is headquartered and operates from a 26,000 square foot manufacturing facility located on a 4 acre property in Sydney Nova Scotia, Canada. The facility is situated on the Trans-Canada Highway and benefits from its own railway siding for large shipments and incoming bulk materials. The facility incorporates a manufacturing line capable of producing up to 1 Million square feet per year of Solera high performance translucent glazing. A new production line was added in mid 2003 that dramatically increased production capacity as well as enabling the maunfacture of 5 foot (1500mm) wide units. Production of transparent honeycomb insulation is in a secure area of the plant. The Sydney facility is also home to Advanced Glazings Ltd.'s product development group. |
