We are taught in school that simplicity is the essence of good design. Designers finally have the opportunity to create buildings that benefit from quality daylighting without making the design compromises implicit in the use of traditional translucent materials. Solera integrates almost seamlessly with nearby vision glass because you specify it with the same exterior lite as that in nearby vision glass sections. Same reflectance, same color (with a slightly higher value). Solera has found acceptance for use not only for the expected clerestory and overhead applications but also for windows, and curtain wall, as a spandrel and expanded spandrel section. It is also ideal as an interior demising partition, enabling visual and acoustic privacy while delivering daylight into deep interior space. To accommodate the broad range of framing systems available, Solera is available with two distinct profiles;
