Light Diffusion and Transmittance
Glare-free light filling the architectural space.
| Light diffusing veils are placed between Solera's honeycomb and glass skin, delivering soft daylight further into a building's deep space. |
 |
| Specified in varying densities and aesthetics these veils or scrims allow light transmittance levels of 10% to 73% to be "dialled in" at the same time as U values down to .20 (R=5). Solera diffuses light at all angles of sun and is a cost effective alternative to light shelves. Veil material is acrylic-coated glass fiber and is inherently UV stable. |
